Young professional paralyzed male needing assistance in morn. (Torrance)

The position I'm looking to fill is the Wed. and Thur. morning.

MORNING:
My morning routine takes 4 - 5 hours on my shower/bathroom days (every other day) & 2 - 3 hours on the in-between day. The responsibilities include dressing, showering, stretching and bathroom assistance plus other odds & ends. I'm trying to fill a Wednesday and Thursday shift which would start early in the morning (5 -- 5:30 am on shower days, 6 -- 6:30 am on non-shower days). I pay every tow weeks and the salary is $240 (before taxes- I do take taxes out) for the 4 mornings ($75 per shower day and $45 per non-shower day), which equates to around $15 - $20 per hour (based on how quickly the job duties/responsibilities can be completed). I believe that I'm a pretty good instructor & therefore feel confident that I could show anyone how to do my routine but experience in caregiving (especially with quadriplegics) is a plus. So as long as you have a good attitude, this position could be a great match for many individuals. I'm looking for someone who is responsible and trustworthy and, I cannot express enough, reliable and not late as I must be to work on time.

I broke my neck when I fell off a 5-story balcony after my freshman year in college back East. I returned to my college, wheelchair and all, after my accident and got my degree in business. I moved to San Diego 10 years ago after I got a job at a corporate consulting company. I relocated to Torrance 5 years ago due to a better job opportunity in the same industry. Despite my injury, I do not let anything slow me down.

I still enjoy everything about life & my accident has not changed my outlook on life nor my positive attitude about living life to the fullest and having as much fun as possible while doing so. I'm an easy-going type of guy who can find humor in all components of life yet I keep myself very busy and need reliability when it comes to people I have helping/working for me. I am in a motorized wheelchair and have use of my arms but have limited dexterity in my hands & my legs are paralyzed. I am still quite independent & can do many activities by myself such as: using a computer, eating, picking things up etc.

I'm looking to hire someone ASAP so please e-mail right away.

Thanks & looking forward to hearing from you! Please keep in mind that I do work full-time & will try my best to get back to you as soon as my schedule permits. Thank you for your patience in advance.
