We are Public School, a new gastropub style full-service dining concept that is getting to ready to open in early summer of 2013 in Westlake Village. We currently have a Public School next to Daily Grill in Downtown Los Angeles that according to The Squirrel Co. "Nevermind recess. . .Public School 612 is downtown's hidden secret that will get you racing once the lunch bell rings!". We are seeking an energetic and highly talented Restaurant Manager to join our opening team at Public School.

Our Managers are responsible for:

* Leading a shift with focus on guest satisfaction
* Managing activities of the staff
* Proactively executing flawless customer satisfaction
* Supervising cash handling procedures
* Finding training opportunities through daily activities
* Inspiring the staff to look at job responsibilities through the guest perspective

The ideal candidate will have:

* A minimum of 2 - 3 years experience managing in a gastropub (with full-service dining), upscale-casual, or similiar full-service dining environment
* Proactive guest issue prevention/guest relations skills
* Knowledge of restaurant POS system management operations
* Great understanding of gastopub type restaurants and bars
* Knowlege of craft beers and complimentary alcoholic beverages
* Ability to open/close
* An open availability is desirable (days, nights, weekends)
* Must be committed to our mission and culture
