Location: Anaheim, CA
Candidates in this position will be working in our Accounting Department. This position would be reporting to the Controller.
Responsibilities:
? GL Reconciliations
? Bank account reconciliations
? Mortgage accounting for origination and sales
? Understanding of the whole mortgage process
? Ability to work with executive management levels
? Presenting data to executive management in clear, concise and meaningful methods
? Work cross-functionally with other departments to resolve issues, create reports and analysis
Requirements:
? Accounting for Mortgage Bankers (AMB) software experience required
? Great Plains knowledge would be good but not required
? Microsoft Excel and Access intermediate to advanced level required
? Strong attention to detail
? Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
? Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment
? Ability to work in a team environment
? Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule; overtime will be required at all times as necessary to get the job done
? Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
? Ability to meet deadlines consistently
? Ability to read and understand information presented verbally and in writing
? Ability to follow written and verbal directives
? Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
? Effectively communicate and engage proactively with all departments and staff
Other Requirements:
? BA/BS Degree
? 4 to 8 years of progressive accounting experience
? Experience with software conversion highly desirable
? Accounting for Mortgage Bankers (AMB) software experience required
? Great Plans knowledge; Preferred but not required
? Microsoft Excel and Access intermediate to advanced level required
