-Monitor child care providers for USDA meal requirements, program guidelines and State licensing and health and safety requirements.
-Provide assistance and training to participants on the use of Minute Menu and Webhx system.
-Assist and work with Child Food Program staff as needed.
-File site-monitoring reports.
-Attend state and local trainings applicable to this position. (May require working outside the traditional workday).
-Assist in developing CCFP program materials as needed.
-Monitor and maintain CCFP participant 24 hour call in message phone line as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
-Nutrition experience background and basic knowledge of child development.
-Knowledge of the Child Care Food Program and/or a sminlar federal funded program.
-Good computer and communication skills.
-Ability to take responsibility and work independently.
-Ability to keep accurate records with basic math and recordkeeping skills.
*MUST PROVIDE OWN TRANSPORTATION AND HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND PROOF OF ACTIVE CAR INSURANCE.
**MUST PASS A DRUG SCREENING TEST AFTER CONTINGENT JOB OFFER IS MADE.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A.A. degree or 3 years equivalent work experience.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
