ABSOLUTE REQUISITES (APPLY ONLY IF ALL REQUISITES ARE MET):
? Experienced (minimum of 3 years as medical assistant in office practice)
? Intelligent, high aptitude, highly productive, excels in fast-paced environment, able to quickly and accurately interview patients, safeguards schedule from errors by rechecking ones entries
? Meticulous, hardworking, able to multitask
? Self-reliant, excellent organizational skills
? Professional presentation (confident, personable, respectful, and proper attire)
? Customer service skills
? Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-pace office
? High integrity, loyal, highly dependable
? Proficiency in medical spelling and terminology
? Good basic math skills
? Excellent communications skills including English usage, grammar, spelling, reading, and enunciation skills. No slang usage.
? Speech recognition software is heavily utilized by the medical assistant in order to upload patient data into the electronic medical record. While training is provided, precise enunciation skills are mandatory in order to efficiently implement speech recognition
technology.
? Type by touch 35 words per minute with less than 5 mistakes per minute.
? Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word

DESIRABLE, YET NOT REQUISITE, Qualifications:
? Electronic medical record usage. Training is provided.
? Cardiology practice experience. Training is provided.
