£30-40k plus benefits (DOE)

Location: Company based in Aberdeen but easily commutable from Blackburn / Dyce / Westhill / Portlethen / Banchory / Cullerlie / Portlethen

Quality Controller required for one of the leading sunsea engineering companies, who design and manufacture innovative new subsea technology.
Experience required:
*Degree qualified
*Ability to read drawings using Pro/E, Autodesk Inventor and/or AutoCAD
*The QC Engineer shall be computer literate
*Ability to organize and efficiently process information
*Attention to detail
*Team player
*Fast learner Understanding of basic oilfield manufacturing requirements (materials, processes, pressures, tolerances and certification)
*Experience in QC, Manufacturing processes, and the assembly/testing of oilfield equipment
*Familiar with Pressure testing, lifting operations and assembly workshop activities.
*Familiar with dimensional control equipment.
*Auditing skills
Ideally, you will have a degree from a red brick university and have experience within oilfield / oil & gas industries within a Quality control environment. You will also have some knowledge of high tolerance, pressure testing and assembly, You should be able to perform a variety of tasks QC, assembly, manufacturing, supplier control, material certification and internal auditing

You will be methodical and accurate with strong communication and problem solving skills. You will be self motivated and have the ability to prioritise and plan workloads and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will need to have a flexible approach and be able to work independently and within a team.
