This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading worldwide provider of professional services to the energy, resource, and complex process industries. As a Senior Technical Safety Engineer, you will play a key role in the establishing of Technical Safety procedures during the FEED-phase of a major oilfield project.


The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline with experience of supervising and leading a multi-disciplinary team, HAZOP Chairman approved would be a distinct advantage.


Any experience in an offshore environment is preferred, along with experience of working with Process Safety or Fire Protection Software.


In addition, familiarity with some, or all, of the following process safety and fire protection activities is desirable; HAZID, HAZOP, Risk (Hazard) Register, Safety Integrity (SIL) Analysis, Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), Critical Element Identification Assessment, Fire & Explosion Assessment, Explosion Risk Assessment, Computational Fluid Dynamic Modelling, Dispersion modelling programs, Non-flammable Major Accident Assessment, Escape, Evacuation, and Rescue Assessment (EER), Emergency System Survivability & Availability Assessment, Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), ALARP Assessment, Health Risk Assessment, Continuous Improvement principles.
