More than one study has tried to determine the financial price of happiness. Some look at wealth. Others look to income.
A much-discussed study last year put the optimal income for luck on about $ 75,000. Rising income, as it turns out, produces more happiness to you at about $ 75,000. After that there are diminishing returns, with more revenue leads to little or no profit in real happiness.
