Mobile Tour Manager (Nationwide)

We have a 6-7 week tour starting January 7th,2013 and are looking to fill the position by end of this week - as well as many other upcoming Spring tours in 2013

Overview
Leading experiential marketing agency is seeking (2) talented tour managers to oversee a nationwide mobile tour for a well-known lighting client.

Background to include 2-5 years event management experience. Must have experience building large scale event production and lighting-- Touring couples welcome to apply

The ideal candidate must be an energetic, organized, punctual, detail oriented team member. Person should possess a proactive attitude to do whatever it takes to accomplish the job for the client in a fast-paced and exciting industry.

Job Description
−Activate and oversee event operations from start to finish, including setup and breakdown of all event elements
−Deliver key brand messaging to target demographic
−Operate and maintain event equipment and vehicle throughout the duration of the tour
−Manage local part time staff
−Distribute and accurately track collateral at retail events
−Maintain inventory of all elements, product and premiums
−Post event recaps and analysis in a timely manner
−Communicate with agency coordinator concerning all event logistics and operations
−Enthusiasm and dedication to brand
−Emcee, announcer or stage experience is preferred
−Activation: January 7th -- February 17th (6 weeks)

Qualifications
−Bachelor's Degree
−2-5 years event management experience
−100% travel
−Must be comfortable driving a 26' box truck (Non-CDL)
−Other duties as assigned
