Our client is a leading global engineering company based in Canada; they are currently looking to hire a Completions Engineer to join their well respected team of professionals.

Experience:

• An undergraduate degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Member in good standing, or eligible for registration, with the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland & Labrador (PEGNL).
• A minimum of 8 years' completions experience, with 3 years of offshore experience, preferably in a harsh weather subsea development environment.
• A good working knowledge of the following:
o Tubular Stress Analysis.
o Torque/drag.
o Well cost reporting and AFE generation.
o Group Loading processes.
o Regulatory guidelines.
o Completion Operations.
o Slickline Operations.
o Welltesting.
o Tubing Conveyed Perforating.
o Subsea Horizontal Xmas trees.
o Subsea Systems.
o Subsea Well Interventions.
o High rate large bore wells (>12,000 bopb).
o Wireline in highly deviated wells.
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Office. Experience using Wellcat software would be an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem identification skills combined with the ability to recommend practical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation).
• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team, and with others outside of the formal organization to achieve goals (e.g. service providers, vendors, contractors).
