Offshore substation engineer

Located in Hamburg, Northern Germany, we require the services of a professional, competent and respected Offshore high voltage substation engineer with German and English language skills.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Leading layout and design of the offshore substation
• Leading technical negotiations with contractors, suppliers and partners, consultants, etc and the technical specification drafting
• Interface management all packages and other disciplines such as HSSE, QA, C P &
• Definition of important technical requirements
• Evaluation of technical and business requirements for mechanical engineering systems
• Management to obtain the certificate from the project without conditions
• Acquisition of the approval of the BSH for substation Inc. electrical part
• Organising and coordinating the relevant internal and external certification processes with the competent services and partners
• Develop relationships with certification and licensing authorities
• Support negotiate contracts relating to certification
• Evaluation and active participation in the creation of internal certification relevant documentation prior to their transfer to the CA and the BSH

Your qualifications will be:
• Successfully completed a university degree in the engineering plant operations, marine engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification
• Experience in project management offshore technology, the maritime environment, or equivalent knowledge
• Experience in engineering mechanical equipment, components and systems in the offshore marine area or required
• Confident in dealing with regulations and standards such as IEC/DNV/GL/SOLAS
• Fluent in German and English
• Technical leadership experience desirable
• Initiative-decisions-team spirit-communication skills-planning and organizational skills
