Introducing IM USA's 3-Wheeled Urban Vehicle
An Eco-Friendly, Safe & Affordable Commuter Vehicle

Phoenix, Arizona -- (October 2012) IM USA, LLC, an Arizona company, is proud to announce the pre-launch of its innovative 3-Wheeled Urban Vehicle -- a practical, street-legal and highly affordable option for those who wish to escape the burden of rising fuel costs. With an average of 70 MPG, the Urban Vehicle is one of the most fuel-efficient options on the road, and one of the safest in its class.

IM USA 3WUV Fact Sheet -- Talking Points

What is it?

? A 3-wheeled, enclosed, street legal, motorized vehicle (sometimes referred to as a "trike")
? DOT motorcycle classification
? Highly fuel-efficient, it averages 70mpg
? Can achieve top speed of 70mph
? Seats up to four adults (two in pickup model)

What do we call it?

The "working title" IM USA is currently using is the Urban Vehicle, as the product branding.
We look forward to our full media and market launch of this unique and highly anticipated product in the US Market [in Q1 2013].

Why Now?

Market feasibility studies have shown us that there is a large demand for an alternative to the more-expensive "green" cars
that are currently available in the US.
The Urban Vehicle offers a practical option, with superior on-the-road consumption and performance.

How is it eco-friendly?

Quite simply, the Urban Vehicle gets amazing mileage, at a combined city/highway MPG of 70.
The average passenger car's fuel-consumption rate is 21.5 MPG.
The average motorcycle combined MPG is 35-40.
The average light truck is 17.22 MPG].
There are few [no?] other options in this price bracket or classification that can compete with the Urban Vehicle's 70MPG performance.
It is one of the most fuel-efficient vehicle options available in today's market.

Motorcycles account for less than 1-2% of the total distance covered by road, with cars covering +86%.
If only a small percentage of commuters switched to Urban Vehicles, we would see a significant
reduction in road-distance coverage by gas-hungry, emissions-worrying cars. [ check stats]

What will it cost?

The Urban Vehicle, MSRP $8,995 [plus tax/title/license].

Where and when will it be available?

IM USA is currently establishing its US Dealer and Distributor network.
All approved Dealerships will also provide full Service & Parts capability.
The 2013 models will be available for pre-order [December 2012] and
are anticipated to be in showrooms throughout the region within the first quarter of the New Year.

IM USA & the Current Economy

IM USA is committed to supporting our National economy.
Our headquarters are established in Phoenix, and our first manufacturing facilities will also be based in Arizona.
Accordingly, IM USA expects to facilitate job creation and economic growth through the addition of numerous

Houston business attorneys can help local companies fend off spurious lawsuits

by Stibbs & Co., P.C. on December 17, 2012

Houston-based SITA Oil Exploration House forged the "guarantee" documents now at the center of a lawsuit brought against Amegy Bank of Texas by Thailand's Minister of Energy, the bank's lawyers alleged in Harris County Court.

Amegy is suing SITA and its owner, Sawapam Bhattacharjee, in connection with the fraud. In court, the bank's attorneys asserted that the oil field drilling company submitted bids to Thailand's government in an attempt to receive concessions that would allow it to explore for oil in the country.

Medical marijuana dispensaries ask court to keep them in business

Dacono's three medical marijuana dispensaries are suing to stay open.

On Friday, a lawyer for Dacono Meds, MaryJane's Medicinal and Green Medicals (formerly The Green Door) asked the Weld County District Court to block the city's ban of marijuana-related businesses. Without legal protection, all three will have to leave town after Dec. 31.

The Dacono City Council passed the ban in June by a 4-2 vote, but a petition drive by the dispensaries put the ban on the ballot. That means Dacono residents will vote in 2013 on whether the ban lives or dies. But the petition couldn't change the dispensaries' deadline, and an attempt to extend the drop-dead date until after the special election failed on a 4-3 City Council vote.

CU Denver program helps veteran students transition to business world

Mike Petschel, an Army veteran who will graduate Saturday from the University of Colorado Denver with a pair of master's degrees, stands in the Boots to Suits office on campus. The ex-infantryman helped develop the program. (AAron Ontiveroz, The Denver Post)

Former Army infantryman Mike Petschel says the overriding message of the military is "team" — to the point where the word "individual" carries very negative connotations.

So what happens after soldiers return to school after completing their service? How do they choose classes or pick a major or know where to go for help, whether it's getting a tuition bill paid or finding a printer? How do they go from there to the next step — writing a résumé and searching for a job?

"To come from that environment, where you never do anything alone, to this one, where you're basically by yourself and alone, is pretty daunting for a lot of guys," Petschel said. "The business world is just different."

But he says he's a lot better off now than he was a few years ago.

That's in part because of Boots to Suits, a program he helped develop to assist veteran students with the transition from the military to school and then establishing a career in the civilian world.

Boots to Suits is already making an impact locally, and the hope is to eventually do the same nationally.

"We're going to have a big problem with people getting out of the military as the war winds down," said Petschel, who will graduate Saturday from the University of Colorado Denver with a pair of master's degrees in business administration. "Veterans are going to have trouble finding jobs, and businesses are going to have trouble employing veterans. We want to create an open dialogue — tell them what we can bring to the workforce, while at the same time learn what they're looking for and what their future needs are."

Since February, Boots to Suits has paired veteran students with mentors from local companies such as Coors Brewing, with more contacts being developed through connections with the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and other organizations.

Boots to Suits director Izzy Abbass says veterans aren't the only ones searching American HomecomingsAmerican Homecomings websiteFind resources for veteransAbout American HomecomingsRead more Veterans' StoriesRead Veterans NewsSubscribe to American HomecomingsAre you a veteran? "It used to be that everyone knew someone who was in the military — that's not the case any more," said Abbass, a Gulf War veteran. "So now, you get situations where business people are coming up to me and going, 'What do I say to a veteran? How do I talk to him?' "

There was a student organization for veterans when Petschel enrolled at CU Denver, but it had grown dormant — and there certainly wasn't any outlet to help them with areas such as networking or career advice.

A group of veterans got together and developed three goals: creating a veteran student center on campus, helping the transition into the workforce and creating college credit for military experience.

A little more than two years later, each goal has been accomplished.

The Office of Veteran Student Services now houses the largest student group on campus, with Boots to Suits at its center.

Still, there's plenty more to be done, Petschel says.

More people are willing to serve as mentors than veteran students have signed up, so Abbass is calling every junior and senior veteran at the school to let them know about the opportunity.

Petschel also has scheduled meetings with vets on the Boulder campus, hoping to take Boots to Suits to the entire University of Colorado system.

"After that, maybe we can shoot it out across the country, create a database," he said. "In the military, you're a transient individual, with the government moving you around every few years, so you may have a veteran from Seattle, but he served his time in Fort Bragg in North Carolina."

The program could help a student veteran wishing to go home network to find academic connections and career mentors and, perhaps, job leads, Petschel said.

"The best thing we can be doing for each other is sharing information," Petschel said, "becoming a team again."

Dalrymple Recognizes North Dakota's Business Women

Posted on 10/16/2012

Gov. Jack Dalrymple today joined public officials and industry leaders in addressing the state's working women and women business owners and recognizing them for the significant contributions they are making to North Dakota's growing economy.

The Governor addressed them during the North Dakota Women's Business Summit which is being held this week in Bismarck. The summit is sponsored by the Center for Technology and Business, which operates the North Dakota Women's Business Center in partnership with the North Dakota Department of Commerce and the Small Business Administration.

"These are historic times for our state, and North Dakota's professional women are on the forefront, helping to fuel our state's impressive growth," Dalrymple said. "North Dakota's working women and women business owners are making significant contributions to our growing economy, creating jobs, expanding business opportunities, and bringing leadership skills and innovative ideas to a variety of industries."

To celebrate professional women and their contributions to our state, Dalrymple proclaimed October 22-26 Business Women's Week in North Dakota.

Dalrymple pointed out that in North Dakota, nearly 25 percent of businesses are owned by women, according to the 2007 Survey of Business Owners, which is the most recent data available. He also cited a 2012 study conducted by American Express in which North Dakota was ranked 5th in the nation for growth in the number of women-owned businesses and in the revenues generated by those businesses. The study indicates that between 1997 and 2012, the number of North Dakota women-owned businesses grew by 48 percent, the revenues they generated grew by 125 percent, and employment opportunities grew by 41 percent.

It is estimated there are more than 8.3 million women-owned businesses in the U.S., generating nearly $1.3 trillion in revenues and employing more than 7 million people. Between 1997 and 2012, the number of women-owned businesses increased by 54 percent, a rate 1

Dalrymple Celebrates Groundbreaking for Novaspect's Mandan Business Center

Posted on 10/16/2012

Gov. Jack Dalrymple today helped break ground on a Mandan-based business center for Novaspect Holdings Inc., a company that supplies and services valves and other mechanical components for the state's oil industry and other industries.

The 20,000-square-foot building, under construction in the Mandan Industrial Park, will support Novaspect's North Dakota business expansion. Novaspect officials plan to have 12 employees operating from the Bismarck-Mandan area by the end of the year and about 30 employees within two years. The company's Mandan business center is expected to be completed in June 2013.

"This new business facility represents more jobs and opportunities for North Dakota," Gov. Jack Dalrymple said. "It is also a reflection of our positive business climate and our strong economy. I applaud Novaspect's commitment to North Dakota and to helping meet the needs of our energy industry."

Novaspect sells and services valves, instrumentation and computer systems that control flow rates, pressure and other industrial processes for a diverse customer base. The company's Mandan business center will serve as a sales center and house the components that is sells and services.

Joining Dalrymple for the groundbreaking were Sen. John Hoeven, Congressman Rick Berg, Mandan Mayor Arlyn Van Beek, Mike Franz, Novaspect's chief financial officer, and other local officials.

American business improve despite expenditure tax cloud

WASHINGTON (Reuters)-a gauge of the planned U.s.-business spending more in October by the most in five months, raising cautious optimism that the sharp cuts in capital investment in the summer.

Fear of deep cuts in spending and large tax beginning next year, a combination known as the fiscal Cliff walks, Government had caused companies survival container nestled.

But orders for non-defence capital goods excluding aircraft, a closely watched proxy for business spending plans, rose 1.7 percent last month, the Commerce Department said Tuesday.

"Although the improvement in demand offers little encouragement that the worse of the malaise in capital investment may be behind us, there is little to suggest that this may be the beginning of a meaningful rebound," said Millan Mulraine, a senior economist at TD Securities in New York.

The increase in so-called core capital goods orders confounded economists expectations for a decline of 0.5%.

Lawmakers and the Obama administration are engaged in negotiations to avoid automatic cuts and increases that could suck $ 600 billion from the economy early next year and a fresh recession fuel tax. Little visible signs of progress have emerged.

"With intense focus on the fiscal cliff and continuing uncertainty about the Economic Outlook in the new year, it remains to be seen whether the shot October can be maintained. It is not clear that it can, "said Omair Sharif, an economist at RBS in Stamford, Connecticut.

"One month doesn't a trend and the trend shows solid companies are still in a kind of a wait-and-see mode on the area of the capital expenditure."

Given the lag between orders and shipments, economists expect business investment to remain an obstacle for economic activity in the fourth quarter.

Shipments of core capital goods fell in October for a fourth consecutive month, and economists said that the stronger orders not could translate into improved shipments until early 2013.

However, a few economists bumped up their meager fourth quarter GDP forecasts something because the decline in shipments was smaller than expected. Core goods shipments are used for calculating business expenses for equipment and software in the gross domestic product report.

In the third quarter, business spending tumbled for the first time since the 2007-09 recession ended, weighed down by the fiscal cliff, Europe's long-term debt problems and slowdown in global demand.

While the weakness in business spending has limiting growth, the housing market is good on steam and consumer confidence is more bullish, that the recovery of the aid.

Single-family house prices rose for an eighth straight month in September, a separate report showed. The default & poor 's/Case-Shiller composite index of 20 metropolitan areas gained 0.4 percent in September on a seasonally adjusted basis.

Home building to add to growth this year for the first time since 2005 and expected firming housing prices bode well for housing construction activity.

"The strengthening of the housing prices is a plus for growth through various channels, including increased consumer spending because of the wealth and confidence effects," said Jim O'Sullivan, Chief Economist at high frequency economics in Valhalla, New York.

A third report showed consumer confidence hit a 4-1/2 year high in November. Economists, however, warned that the fiscal Cliff sentiment could erode in the coming months.

Stocks on Wall Street ended down as investors worried about the lack of progress in the elaboration of a deal on the Government budgetary problem, while prices for U.s. Treasury debt eked out modest profit. The dollar firmed against a basket of currencies.

Orders for U.S. durable goods and ready-made — items intended to last three years or more — in October were unchanged as gains in machinery, fabricated metal products, and computer and electronic products offset the Drag of cars, Defense goods and civilian aircraft.

Economists had expected durable goods orders to fall 0.6 percent last month. They rose by 9.2 percent in September.

With the exception of transportation, orders rose 1.5 percent in October after a rise of 1.7 percent the previous month.
