Manufacturing Engineer Career

Education Qualifications

As your first engineering role, you should have at least completed a bachelor’s degree in engineering but it is increasingly becoming popular that graduates entering their first engineering position have a Masters degree. You will normally be expected to have an honors degree in engineering.

However, it is becoming more common that graduates entering their first job will have a Masters degree in engineering. One of the main reasons for this is the appeal of becoming a chartered engineer. Apart from strong analytical skills, you also need good problem solving skills, leadership qualities, a good dose of awareness of health and safety issues of your country.
