A rapidly developing educational software company is looking for a talented junior graphics artist/designer to join our team of education professionals. Our software utilizes games and puzzles in order to help young students develop their math skills. The graphics designer will not only help bring our software to life, but will also create branding and imagery for our website.

Responsibilities include:

? Working with the team to create a visual design for a series of mini-games
? Designing a wide assortment of game objects (spaceships, golf putters, asteroids, animals, etc)
? Creating effects as needed and working with the software team to ensure compatibility the current framework
? Brainstorming visual design techniques to make the software more engaging

Qualifications:

? Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop)
? Ability to work quickly and creatively to meet deadlines
? A background in drawing is preferred, but not required
? Capable and willing to adapt to whatever is thrown your way
? Willingness to learn and grow with a small, but rapidly developing company.

We're not necessarily looking for someone with years of professional experience. As long as you're excited about design, have an eye for graphics and the skills to match you're encouraged to apply.

Compensation is $10/hour on a contractual basis. The initial project will take approximately one month with possible future projects.
