Interactive Graphic Designer: Exciting Online Fashion Startup (West LA)
Company Description:
Little Black Bag is a venture backed eCommerce company that is introducing an entirely new way to shop online. The company is based on a Japanese retail store concept called the "lucky bag sale," where retailers sell bags of mystery products to consumers in a fun, socially engaging way. LBB is bringing this concept online in order to create a truly social shopping experience. LBB's co-founders are Dan Murillo, previously a venture capitalist with Greycroft Partner and Stanford MBA; David Weissman, a 12 year eCommerce veteran who most recently exited from GSI Commerce after eBay's $2.4 Billion acquisition; and Sasha Siddhartha, previously a Development Manager at Microsoft and Stanford computer science grad.
Overview:
The Interactive Graphic Designer will work closely with the Product team to create beautiful graphic assets for the web and mobile versions of the site. Additionally, the Designer will work closely with the Marketing team to create compelling Marketing collateral across various media types, including email, display, Facebook, YouTube, and others.
Qualifications:
? 2+ years of design experience
? Passion for Fashion
? Strong command over all elements of design, layout, typography and IA
? Ability to draw sophisticated and original digital graphics (either via tablet or with a mouse)
? Ability to design visually attractive and highly usable interfaces
? BA in web or graphic design preferred
? Must be a hands on designer -- pick up work will be needed for a multitude of projects.
? Awareness of current trends in interaction design, online, mobile and social media.
Responsibilities
? Work with the Product Management team to create highly stylized and fashion focused graphic assets based on wireframes.
? Draw original graphics, visual motifs, and other design elements for use on the site and in marketing collateral
? Create highly stylized and fashion focused marketing collateral to be used in: email marketing, landing pages, display ads, Facebook ads, and print.

Exciting position for strong dental assistant in busy family practice (Beverly Hills)

Days: 5 Days a week (M-F)
Hours: Need to be flexible- depending on our current assistants' schedules- will either be 7:00-4:00, 7:30-4:30, 8:00-5:00, or 8:30-5:30. Will determine a set schedule at time of hire.
Position: Registered Dental Assistant preferred, but Dental Assistant considered as well
Salary: $10-25/ hour, based on skill, personality, working interviews and performance, with additional bonus structure. Will discuss at interview.
Prior Experience: At least 2 years

Beverly Hills Dentistry (BHD) is a professional, fast-paced, and fun place to work. We are a family practice with Dr. Kevin Frawley and two of his children, Dr. Michele Frawley, and Dr. Shawn Frawley working together. We do general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. We stress team work and are committed to patient care.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, a good communicator, hard working, and has good people skills. We want someone who has the same core values and principles as we do (please see our website listed below for more details). The desire to never stop learning, to want to go to CE classes, to be a team player, to take direction and constructive criticism well is important. It would be very helpful if you have prior experience in a multi-dentist practice, as we are very busy and must work quickly and efficiently, and with a variety of different doctors' styles.
You must be able to do the following:
?Listen to patients' chief concerns and be able to record their words accurately. Write chart notes in the computer and be able to accurately describe the procedures in detail.
Good grammar, spelling, and typing skills are critical to this position. Do not apply if you do not have these.
?Set-up and break down rooms accurately and efficiently. Refer to all procedure protocols to make sure nothing is forgotten.
?Review patient's medical history, progress from the previous visit, if applicable, and the scheduled treatment plan with each patient.
?Chairside assisting: anticipating what each Dr. needs and being a step ahead of him/her. Think through the procedure and understand why things are being done.
Pass instruments, aspirate intra oral fluids, mix materials, etc.
?Complete the appointment by ensuring that the next visit(s) are denoted accurately and that the patients understand the next treatment. Enter this and all other treatment into Open Dental.
?Provide customer service support to patients by escorting them to and from the treatment room and prepping them for care by the doctor.
?Has familiarity with front office check-out procedures: scheduling appointments, collecting payments, reviewing insurance information
?Familiarity with CEREC procedures and restorations would be very helpful- scanning, designing, milling, preparing restorations.
