The primary duties for this position will be to answer customer service questions, resolve order-related issues and process returns. Additional duties are listed below.

-Answering customer telephone calls, e-mails and taking new orders
-Resolving customer issues and providing other general customer service support

-Manage inbound and outbound shipments including RMAs and new items/ supplies

JANUS et Cie®, the reputable, design-focused leader in the furniture industry is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to add to our growing warehouse team.

This position is responsible for supervising, directing, and overseeing warehouse personnel to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of labor, materials, and assets. The supervisor is responsible for developing and directing his/her team in order to achieve departmental and organizational goals, specifically the warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).

The supervisor will need to develop and/or implement any new procedures that would help alleviate or eliminate production or product issues. He/she must be process driven and be familiar with Lean Management methodology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Must possess the ability to lead and develop a team of 5-10 individuals into a highly skilled and focused workforce.
* Ability to maneuver workforce as needed in order to complete daily assignments
* Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
* Complete, compile and gather shift reports, Team sheets, and daily requisitions for utilization of reporting Associates productivity.
* Communicate with Warehouse Manager or Production Supervisor regarding any Warehouse issues
* Training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
* High School or GED required
* Must be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
* Minimum of 2 years Lead or Supervisory experience preferably within the furniture industry
* Knowledge of OSHA regulatory compliance handling hazardous and/or flammable materials

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Individual must be dynamic and always prepared for constant change in job description as the company continues to expand
* Must be able to work in fast-pace environment with a sense of urgency if necessary.
* Must also be able to work overtime when necessary.
* Ability to prioritize workloads for crew and organize work flow effectively
* Ability to analyze, consolidate and interpret data
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and adhere to Company policies
* Ability to bend and lift (materials) from floor level to a height of 6 ft. to place them on shelves/on and off vehicles/list other locations
* Ability to comply with safety procedures
* Some knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word
* Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack and other customary warehouse equipment
* Ability to work in stationary position seated and standing for extended periods of time
* Ability to work independently
* Knowledge of basic mathematics
