WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
?Conduct sophisticated statistical analysis of data, identify or create programming tools and technical solutions to address business issues and design sophisticated databases, queries and reports with no supervision. ?Provide data analysis guidance for other analysts. Review, coach and refine work of other analysts.

?Serves as a problem solving resource to project team. Works with stakeholder group to conduct cost/benefit analysis of proposed changes.

SKILLS YOU'LL NEED
?Previous experience in all phase of application software development and maintenance life cycles in a large mainframe or client service environment preferred.
?Experience in PERL and CGI.
?Development experience with Oracle DBMS preferred.
?Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field OR equivalent experience.
?Thorough knowledge of HTML.
?Proficient in C, C++, and/or JAVA.
?Proficiency required in one or more high level programming languages respective to various client server platforms.
?Strong skills required in critical thinking and analysis, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions.
?Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

In the role of CMMS Analyst, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the client's CMMS system, and its interfaces with cost, materials and planning groups in support of the maintenance function.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensuring the co-ordination and optimisation of spares listed against PMOs.
Configuration and preparation of system reports.
Capability in SQL/Toad and underlying data structure to enable data retrieval and preparation of ad hoc reports
Prepare, control and revise PMOs.
Assist in effective cost management of maintenance activities.
Liaise regularly with offshore end users to ensure effective use of the CMMS system
Carry out regular data checks to ensure compliance with data structure, correct and complete format with required level of history. Report findings regularly.
Maintain asset register and equipment hierarchies.
Monitoring, management and reporting of compliance.
Monitoring, management and reporting of backlog.
Rigorous CMMS change management.
Upload / download project modifications data and PMO revisions.
Manage, organise and deliver system training.

The ideal candidate will have a technical apprenticeship/HNC with adequate experience of working within a CMMS Analyst role, alternatively in lieu of formal qualifications you may offer an auditable track record of consistently high performance for a substantial period working with a CMMS. You will also ideally have experience of the Offshore Oil and Gas industry, with an understanding of Operations and Maintenance.
You will also have a good general knowledge of maintenance techniques, tools and processes, with a good understanding of maintenance strategies and their development.

The Role
As the Business Analyst you'll regularly interact with operational teams to develop budgets and robust monthly forecast updates. You'll provide information and highlight key issues on a routine and adhoc basis to help manage costs. You'll analyse key variances from budget and previous month's forecast and communicate these effectively to Management. You'll also provide corporate reporting teams with understanding of costs and activity and will provide support to more junior members of the Business Analysis Team.

Ideally you'll be educated to a degree level within a relevant discipline or you'll have gained the equivalent experience within a Business Analyst position.
