The Opportunity:

Repair and Maintenance Project Manager

Patina Restaurant Group is in search of a Repair and Maintenance Project Manager to join our team on the West Coast. The Project Manager will report to our Vice President of Design and Construction.

Duties:

Responsible for executing the approved West Coast Maintenance Capital Plan.Responsible for emergency repairs. Vet out and identify scope of work.Responsible for maintaining the protocol established for any capital work.Determines if work can be handled in house or done by an outside vendor.If outside vendor, need to bid to through the preferred vendor list.Solicits and reviews all bids and "scopes of work" and recommends action to be taken.Manages projects to stay within budget and schedule plus maintains database of work performed within the Property Works Database.Coordinates with the VP of Operations, General Managers/Executive Chefs and other restaurant personnel as needed.Assists with Board of Health compliance and troubleshoots as needed.Assures completion and acceptance of work prior to recommending approval of invoices.Liaison between the contractors and the restaurants. Streamlines procedures for scheduling for informing the Operator of the work to be performed and will assist with special projects are requested.

The Requirements:

Construction related field or equivalent work experience of a minimum of 5 years.Ability to read, analyze and interpret construction drawings, proposals and invoices.Knowledge and exposure to restaurants back of house desirable.Excellent technical skills, including using computers, the Internet and file sharing required.Prior experience regarding negotiating contract terms a plus.Strong personal management skills, dedication and organization required.
