Delaware North Companies at the LAX Airport currently seeking experienced MGRS, ASST MGRS ,Working Kitchen Managers, and Hourly Supervisors

Delaware North Companies is a well established leader in the food service and hospitality industry that manages multiple units and multiple concepts inside Los Angeles International Airport.

Candidates should possess the ability to work in a faced-paced, high-volume environment along with having strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of overall operations all while keeping guest satisfaction and experience at its best.

Duties include, but not limited to:
coordinate and supervise activities of up to 20-50 employees; train employees in company policies and procedures; ensure
quality employee performance. Verify payroll; prepare various cost and operational reports. Maintain positive
customer relations by ensuring efficient, quality service and products. Maintain proper
implementation of sanitation procedures and Brand standards. Ensure effective operation of area at all times.

JOB REQUIRMENTS:
Knowledge of food and beverage procedures and inventory control procedures.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Must be experienced in a multiple kitchen stations. Ex. Panty, Sautee, Broiler, Fryer, Prep
Control quality and potions of food items served.
Maintain a clean and orderly Kitchen
Must work well with others in a team oriented environment
Follow Company Guest Service Standards.
Follow all Health Department guidelines and food temperatures are maintained within code.
Necessary 2-5 years of direct experience in Food Supervision.
Must have open availability to work full time, breakfast, lunch, or dinner

Responsibilities:

* Hiring, training and discipline of kitchen Team Members
* Reviewing and evaluating all kitchen Team Members
* Responsible for all kitchen administration
* Responsible for cost control
* Works with Culinary in developing additional menu items
* Ensures consistency and portioning of all food
* Responsible for in-restaurant purchasing
* Ensures a clean and sanitary kitchen
* Ensures upkeep, repair and maintenance of all kitchen equipment

Required Skills:

* Experience in all stations on the line
* Has great decision making skills
* Has superb organizational skills
* Knowledge of correct portions and positions on plates
* Able to order and receive
* Proactive, punctual and a great communicator (must read, write and speak English)
* Must be committed to our mission and culture

Required Experience:

* Must have at least 2-5 years experience as a working Sous Chef or Assistant Kitchen Manager, in an upscale casual or fine dining restaurant (REQUIRED)
* POS and Office computer software experience
* Large hotel experience preferred
