Our client, a large subsea and pipelines contractor are looking for a Subsea Systems Engineer to join their team in Staines.

Job Overview

Our client is one of the world's largest and most innovative pipeline, subsea engineering and management contractors, with 30 years experience and approximately 1300 professional staff located in a global network of 10 offices on 4 continents.

Their requirement is for a Subsea Systems Engineer who will work as part Integrated Group on one of our major offshore and subsea design projects.

The job will be located in our London (Staines) office.

Roles & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be working within an active project team and would be required to take a lead role:
-Ensuring compliance with project philosophies and operability requirements.
-Performance of lessons learnt planning and implementation of results.
-Co-ordination of input into the project BoD's.
-Maintenance of field architecture, field layouts and system drawings.

The work will be of a diverse nature and the engineer's responsibilities and duties will evolve as the project progresses.

Experience Required

The engineer who preferably should be degree qualified and working towards chartership and should have experience in one or more of the following areas of offshore engineering:

-Subsea pipeline design.
-Subsea architecture and layouts.
-Subsea equipment design / requirements.
-Offshore construction / installation.
-Commissioning and operations.
