Drilling Fluids Rep.- Lead well site engineer- Formulated water and oil based drilling fluids up to 19.4 ppg on-site for the successful completion of oil and gas wells. Extensive experience along the gulf coast area from Brownsville, TX to Centerville, TX. Experienced in lignosulfonate, potassium based, XCD polymer mud, neutral pH fluids, high concentration LCM oil and water-based fluids for high loss circulation zones as well as tight and relaxed filtrate fluids. I have set up and run closed loop systems, centrifuge, and cuttings dryers and managed all aspects of the cuttings disposal.Formations -  Eagleford Shale, Haynesville Shale, Buda, Pearsall, Olmos.Special Drilling Problems- Experienced in under balanced drilling with third party choke, stuck pipe, torque/drag, high deviation torque, sloughing and popping shale, caving hole, gas flow, fishing, lost circulation, carbonate/bicarbonate, and anhydrite contamination, fractured formations -total loss circulation, H2S gas, bit/stab balling. HTHP wells. Gas and saltwater kicks. Drilling with casing. Experience in completion of mud reports, SARA Title III, well recaps and interval discussions.

Computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) expertise to support CMMS from maintenance build and data loads through to through to effective work order management by reliability engineers. Systems development - delivering a flexible range of hardware and software solutions that enable real-time machine monitoring and performance analysis of every part of the process.

What you'll be doing...
* Be the "technical sign off" for a group of 12 Reliability Engineers
* Be the "second point of view" on technical matters as and when they arise
* Develop additional CBM revenue through technical delivery of specialist customer facing work requiring ad hoc visits to North Sea platforms on occasion (2-3 times per month)
* Be an integral part of the management of CBM contracts and business

What you'll need for this position...
* A key requirement of this role will be to have Vibration Analysis Level III certification compliant to BINDT CM GEN Appendix D PCN Certification Scheme.
* Engineering qualification to HNC/D or above (mechanical or electrical) and an electrical bias would be desired.
* O&G industry (upstream or downstream) desired, however experience or rotating equipment maintenance and condition monitoring within other process industries will be acceptable
* Technical knowledge of Condition Monitoring; Root Cause Analysis; machinery maintenance & strategy development & defect elimination.
* Distinct advantage to have Partial Discharge Analysis and/or Phase Current Analysis as would knowledge of Multivariate Statistical Analysis, Plant Maintenance optimisation, Production Loss Management and Maintenance Benchmarking.

• Evaluate, develop and maintain up to date inventories of production enhancement opportunities in existing wells.

• Work with subsurface and drilling teams to optimise completion design for new wells and work-overs.

Post Responsibilities

The primary role is to act as a Principal Social Consultant, providing competent consulting services to support projects and clients. Other aspects of the role include:
*Acting as project manager on social and/or other specialist environmental studies
*Providing expert social services to ensure successful delivery of projects
*Managing the social and environmental aspects of multi-disciplinary project development studies
*Business development, including the generation of business from new and existing clients
*Managing and developing Consultant and Senior level staff

Main Technical Responsibilities:

The work involved in undertaking this role may include the following activities, as well as other responsibilities as required:

*Degree or equivalent in a social (preference) or environmental discipline with a higher degree in a social discipline and/or the majority of experience gained internationally
*Previous experience of undertaking large SIAs and contributing to project development studies, ideally for international (non-UK) projects and for a variety of natural resource commodities
*Evidence of exposure to various environmental disciplines including air, water, geochemistry, noise, biodiversity/ecology and how these relate to socio-economic situations
*Knowledge of the Equator Principles and IFC Performance Standards, other international best practice
*Proven track record of bringing projects in on time, within budget and to the clients satisfaction
*Excellent report and proposal writing skills. A second language, ideally French would be an advantage but is not essential
*Strong communication skills with knowledge of working with different communities and cultures
*Proven leadership and team building experience, working self sufficiently also within a team environment
*Business development skills - business development will act as a crucial part of the role
*Effective organisation and time management skills

Working Conditions

Frequent overseas travel will be necessary, involving working in a variety of climatic and geographic terrains in addition to working in various mining and mineral processing operations.

Principal Regulatory ConsultantTo become a senior member in a team of energy economists, regulatory experts, energy markets and power system analysts who provide advisory services to a range of clients from international financial institutions, investment banks, government, regulatory and international agencies, project sponsors & developers, utilities and major energy users. The projects are typically short to medium term assignments i.e. 3 weeks to 18 months. There is likelihood to be a requirement for short term international travel.The existing portfolio of work includes cost benefit analysis of energy projects (generally power/occasionally gas) in the developing world; reviews on market and regulatory risk analysis; the establishment of regulatory frameworks and market rules; power and related (fuel, green credit) market analysis, energy transactions and assets acquisition support in reference to market and regulatory risk; technical assistance and capacity building of regulatory agencies in the developing world; pricing and tariff methodologies.The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to business development activities and assist in driving the business forward winning new projects by leveraging existing networks of industry contacts or developing new ones to support the business plan of the Energy Markets & Regulatory Practice.Of particular interest is the capability of developing the business into the area of network regulation (supporting utilities or regulatory agencies during price reviews) with emphasis in the UK market and the expected developments under the RIIO implementationDegree qualified in Engineering, Economics or related discipline.

Experience in any of:

Electricity or Gas Utilities price reviews, tariff formulation, and regulatory price control.Experience within the UK regulated utilities sector and in particular understanding of the new proposed RIIO model for network regulation.Experience in the regulation of Energy Networks (transmission and/or distribution), regulatory approval of CAPEX and planning process, benchmarking studies, Data Envelopment Analysis, Quality of Service Regulation
