Job Overview: Working for world's leading geophysical company…oil and gas industry… you will support their Multiclient/New Ventures Team working in Norway…covering the Nordic Countries. Applicants are invited with a good background in basin analysis/petroleum geology and the ability to research and integrate both well and seismic data in order to determine and highlight prospectively. This role offers a great opportunity to develop not only your technical geoscience skills but your understanding of the exploration business in Norwegian waters and the associated seismic and geology data available…. Supported by senior geoscientists as required, you will be solely responsible for producing prospectivity reports to support exploration decisions within this region. With proven experience in exploration evaluation and prospectivity reporting, you will be a valuable asset to this MC/New Venture team, helping them to identify new prospects and clearly explaining the technical hydrocarbon prospectively to clients. Requirements: EarthScience related degree…Min 5 years oil and gas industry…Previous experience undertaking geological interpretations… a great opportunity to utilise your geological interpretation skills in a truly exploration role. You will be exposed to a range of seismic and geological datasets and reports pertaining to the Nordic State and small to major prestigious oil company clients, learning about their exploration plans and challenges….
