Position: CDL Class A Driver (Transportation)
Job Type: Regular Employee 30-40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 1 year commercial driving; Military commercial driving experience acceptable

Responsibilities: Driving a commercial Class A truck with attached refrigerated unit. Will be making deliveries of seafood products on route to different locations as well as completing paperwork for deliveries. Must be clean-cut and responsible. Deliveries will be ramp/dolly deliveries. It is all driver touch, so very physical.

Requirements:
*Must have a valid CDL Class A drivers license with air brakes endorsement
*Be at least 21 years old
*H-6 DMV form, showing driving record for the past 7 years
*Able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests
*Have a clean MVR and good safety record
*Be able to get in and out of the truck up to 20-30 times a day
*Must be based in LA/Orange County
*Minimum 1 year experience driving professionally
*Ability to lift 60lbs, push 50 lbs, and move a dolly loaded with up to 260 lbs
*Able to work flexible shift (days, nights, weekends)
*No DWI or license suspensions in the past 5 years
*No more than 1 moving violations in the past three years
*No more than 2 minor preventable accidents (less than $5000 damage) within the last 3 years or 1 major preventable accidents within the last year

Major functions:
*Loading and unloading (delivering) seafood products throughout the Los Angeles and Orange Country area
*Daily communication with office staff
*Keep accurate records of vehicle usage including mileage
*Keep accurate records of products picked up and delivered
*May be working in adverse weather conditions and stand for extended periods of time while performing physical labor
*Ensure of documented inspection of vehicles on the appropriate forms directly before operating them and file them for records
*Comply with state regulations, regarding proper usage, inspection and maintenance of vehicles
*Familiarity with Apple products and smart phones helpful
*Proficient in English language, bilingual plus but not required
*Communicate effectively and positively with vendors and suppliers
*Be very customer service focused and have a positive attitude
*Be familiar with Los Angeles and Orange County area
*Completing other duties as assigned
