Commodities Senior Project Manager - Front Office - London

Based in the heart of the City my client is a leading player in the Financial and Commodity Trading and Risk Management sector.

They are seeking established project managers with a proven track record in project managing trading software projects.

The role requires the individual to gain knowledge of the complex trading software product suite and then be able to apply this knowledge and their relevant experience at client sites in a Project Management role. You will be a senior memeber of the team and will be required to travel to European client site when needed. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to further their career in the ETRM / Project Management space.

Key Responsibilities:
* Be responsible for the design, production and delivery of the Implementation Project Plan (IPP)
* Run and execute the PRINCE II project management process and co-ordinate the production and delivery or the project's deliverables.
* Act as the principal point of contact within the client's organisation.
* Maintain all project-related files and records.
* Raise and monitor any Requests for Support Services (RSS) in connection with the Project and co-ordinate the provision and allocation of all associated RSS resources.

Key Skills:
* Project Management experience in a financial/commodity institution or similar software organisation
* Knowledge of trading and trading software
* Knowledge of the Project Management 'life cycle'
* Knowledge of PRINCE 2
* Planning and organising - time management
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
