Safety Engineer

A global engineering consultancy company that provides safety engineering services to the oil & gas sector has a new opportunity for a Safety Engineer to join their London office.

Job Description:
- Supporting HAZOP / LOPA and SIL determination studies.
- Performing and documenting reliability calculations.
- Producing safety-critical reports to Principal Consultant.
- Providing quotations for consultancy services and engaging in business development activities.
- Developing safe-working procedures using risk assessment.
- Supporting Functional Safety Management Audits.

Experience Required:
- Engineering honours degree (Electrical/Chemical/Mechanical)
- Experience in developing key documents for Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)
- Familiar with HAZOP and LOPA techniques.
- Familiarity with functional safety standards: IEC61508, IEC61511, IEC62061 and ISO13849.
