Strategically placed in Central Scotland, our clients' Grangemouth site contains all that is exciting and challenging in the Oil and Gas Industry - and it's teh company's largest asset including Scotland's only crude oil refinery.

This is an exciting time to join them: with significant investment planned over the next few years, they're looking for highly motivated process safety professionals.
You will play a key role in providing process safety related technical design competence and guidance, improving process safety performance and meeting regulatory /compliance requirements

Candidates must have experience and understanding of the following:

*Chartered Chemical Engineer
* Significant process safety experience, ideally from a Petrochemicals or Refining environment.
* Experience of setting the process safety agenda to meet business and regulatory targets
* Experience of the development and implementation of management strategies to ensure compliance with legislative requirements, including the interface with land-use planning
* Experience of leading on hazard analysis and risk assessment/reduction activities
* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build relevant relationships and networks at all levels both inside and outside the company, including interfacing with, and representing the business position, to the Regulatory Authorities.
* Clear and logical thinker with an ability to work outside the core technical arena and to develop creative solutions to emerging problems
* Strong project management and performance measurement skills
