Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of a Room Attendant include:

Key responsibilities of a House Person:

o General and deep cleaning throughout the hotel and Food and Beverage Outlets.
o Special Housekeeping Projects.
o May operate heavy equipment such as floor scrubbers, striping, buffers, and waxing machines.
o Cleaning assigned guestrooms in accordance with company standards, when needed.
o Assist Room Attendants with replenishing linen and supplies.
o Reporting maintenance issues to Supervisor immediately.
o Greeting guests in hallways in a pleasant and friendly manner.

Job Requirements:

o Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
o Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time 8 hrs. or more.
o Ability to follow instructions, directions, and meet deadlines, including the thorough cleaning of the minimum number of rooms assigned.
o Ability to bend, reach over head, lift, carry, push and pull up to 50-70 pounds.
o Abide by company local, state and federal laws and regulations as applicable.
o Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and as business demands.
o Basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand information such as labels and instructions and basic guest requests.
Must pass background check.

This person will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients. Managing their time efficiently to ensure all orders are processed and delivered correctly and on-time. This individual must possess strong computer skills in order to maintain on-line orders and complete monthly reports. Fifty precent of the coordinators time is spent in delivery ans set-up of catering orders and fifty percent is dedicated to generating catering sales through marketing efforts, relationship building and strong follow-up.
