Job Duties:

? Reply to current client emails and phone calls.
? Reply to new client inquiries via email and phone.
? Track new client inquiries on a spreadsheet.
? Follow up with new client inquiries two days after sending initial email.
? Follow through with the entire process of signing up a new client, assigning a sitter or walker, and setting the consultation.
? Turn around new client intake forms.
? Add new client information to our online pet sitting software and in and out spreadsheet.
? Provide billing for the pet sits that you set up.
? Provide billing for our weekly dog walking clients
? Update cancelations and add-on requests from clients on our online software, in and out spreadsheet, and contacting the team members to check availability or to confirm the cancelation.
? Act as liaison between walkers/sitters and clients when there are issues at clients homes with their pets or homes or if the client needs to check on something with the walker/sitter.
? Keep a log of client and team contact.
? Remain confident and calm in dealing with any challenges that may arise.
? Know to always ask for help if you are not sure of anything or how to handle a situation.
? Give your ideas, ingenuity and know-how when you see that improvements can be made in order to create a more dynamic and efficient company.
? Train in person with business owner on weekdays at pre-arranged times in her office for 3-4 weeks before working on your own in your own home.

Here are the details:

This will be a part-time position on Fridays and Saturdays approximately 16 hours per week. The hours are flexible depending on the work load. On Fridays they will start at 8:30 a.m. and end at 6:30 p.m. On Saturdays the hours will be from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You will check emails/messages from your home office and return any missed calls every 90 minutes on weekdays every 2 hours on weekends between:

Friday: 8:30 a.m. -- 6:30 p.m. (for example always checking email at 8:30, 10:00, 11:30, 1:00, 2:30, 4:00, 5:30 and remain on until 6:30)
Saturday: 10:30 a.m. -- 4:30 p.m. (for example always checking email at 10:30, 12:30, 2:30, and then 3:45 to finish at 4:30)

If the days have a quiet work load, you will have flexibility during your work day. Once training is complete you will check emails/messages from your home office and return any missed calls.

There is the opportunity to work more hours other days of the week whether filling in for other shifts, leading new client consultations in the evenings or day time, and/or helping with projects on an as needed basis.

You will perform the duties listed above during these times.

After training is complete, you will work from YOUR home office, with your own high-speed Internet connection, using e-mail and phone. Strong, professional written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as solid computer skills (Word, Excel, online web applications, etc.). You must have a very quiet home environment from which to work.

This is an exciting and flexible permanent P/T job that will grow with the right person. I'd like to hire someone who has enough flexibility in his/her current work schedule to also work other days of the week if needed.

Pay rate will be $10/hour.

You will be working as a part-time employee.
