Responsibilities
Completes troubleshooting repairs and/or modifications work on company assets according to company and manufacturer’s specifications. Performs preventative maintenance on electrical components in gas plant according to
established schedule. Preplans operational needs, organizes equipment and supplies, and conducts testing of
systems as required.
Qualifications
Basic:
Minimum one year certificate from college, technical or vocational school. Minimum 3 years related experience. Other Requirements
Valid driver’s license. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in
written, oral or diagram form. Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally. Preferred Journeyman License. Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with
hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Occasionally required to taste or smell. Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment
Regularly works near moving mechanical parts; in high, precarious places; exposed to outside weather conditions; and risk of electrical shock. Frequently exposed to vibration. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather); fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; and extreme cold (non-weather). Noise level in work environment is usually loud.
