Pressure Control Valves 5K and 10K

Looking for a answer backed up with (API) rules as well as experiences for the following:

We will be using the following stacks:
29-1/2" 500 PSI
21-1/4" 2K
13-5/8" 10K

The last two stacks will have drilling spools installed, both with 4-1/16" outlets

The 21-1/4" spool has 4-1/16" 5K outlets
The 13-5/8" spool has 4-1/16" 10K outlets

The pressure control spools will be connected to these outlets. We have both 5K and 10K sets. Also we have the crossover DSA to connect the 10K valves to the 5K outlets of the 21-1/4" spool.

Now the question:

Can we use 10K valves connected to the 21-1/4" stack with a DSA 4-1/16" 5K x 10K?

I have heard several reasons why not to do it as well as reasons to do it and why it would not be a unsafer situation.

I appreciate your comments and experiences.

As part of their plans to organically grow their business by 10% year on year, they now have an opportunity to recruit a Flow & Pressure Sales Engineer to join their team

This vacancy is open to Sales Engineers with a proven track record in selling Flow or Pressure products directly to OEM's & End Users within the Engineering Sector

THE ROLE

1. 90% of you time will be spent visiting Engineering companies throughout the West Midlands and South Wales selling my clients complete range of Flow & Pressure products
2. You will inherit an exiting territory generating in excess of £500,000 with a key focus on bringing new sales with brand new customers
3. You will given full backup and support from your own internal engineering teams in terms of pricing, order processing and lead generation although, you will still be fully expected to use your own initiative in generating new sales

THE CANDIDATE

1. A proven track record in selling Flow & Pressure equipment
2. You will need to be based on patch with hunter instincts and the skills required to fulfill a new business orientated role
3. The ideal candidate will posses a minimum HND in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering although, a proven track record in sales will far outweigh any qualification

SALARY

£30,000-£40,000 (based on experience) + OTE up to £46,000 + Car + Phone + Laptop + Pension + Health + 20 days holiday & stat

THE BENEFITS
Success in this role could very quickly see your role progress into a Product Managers role however, this success will be dictated by your own individual performance.

You will typically be expected to fill this role for at least 3 years however, if you hit the ground running this could be sooner.
