Advertising experience including on-line media planning/buying, campaign development and performance analysis.

Strong negotiation skills.

Extensive analytical capabilities in quantifying, reporting and documenting performance metrics.
Must have very strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to communicate across business channels (marketing, legal and technical personnel) to maintain and execute online marketing strategies.
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft office (with emphasis on excel).
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Accomplished in dynamics of negotiating profitable online media deals with proficiency in analytics, online marketing metrics and optimization strategies.
Must be a "hunter".
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, and Salesforce.com, comScore, Neilsen, Compete or Hitwise a plus
Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication, follow through, attention to detail, problem solving skills.
Optimize placement and targeting online media buys.
Excellent time management and organization skills.
Large agency background would be great.

My client - Is one of the UK's most successful and respected company in the area and is currently expanding its work force and investing in new systems due to winning a large contract.

Parts Buyer
Must have engineering background
Obtain and negotiate quotations from suppliers to obtain best value for money. experience
Placement of Purchase Orders (In accordance with 'JIT' and 'Parts to Order' ethos) with suppliers in accordance with company processes and procedures.

Excellent IT skills; familiarisation with use of MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Word, Excel. The role will also require to the candidate to make recommendations as to the configuration of new systems to maximise efficiencies.

Negotiate with suppliers and customers on issues such as prices, delivery dates and expedite where necessary. This may involve arranging supplier meetings and carrying out value for money assessments.
Ensure that purchasing support systems are used and updated on a timely basis so that internal and external stakeholders have accurate and up-to-date information
Provide management information as and when required
Working closely with internal and external customers establishing excellent working relationships.

Lead Buyer

Purpose / Role

To carry out all duties with regard to prequalification, issue of enquiries, evaluation of tenders, award and administration of Purchase Orders through to close out. To supervise a team of buyers and to occasionally deputise for the Procurement Team Leader or Supply Chain Manager at meetings etc. as required.

* Deliver the best combination of product quality, price and delivery to our customers by working to add value in a socially responsible and ethical manner.
* Issue of prequalification, questionnaires (if necessary) to selected companies, preparation of tender list.
* Issue of enquiries for required equipment/materials/services and resolve any pre tender queries.
* Receive and analyse tenders, clarify outstanding queries, produce bid summaries
* Preparation and submission of order recommendation where appropriate.
* Preparation and issue of Purchase Orders.
* Management of post order administration including variations, expediting and inspection requirements, invoice queries, completion of performance feedback (FPAL) for Close Out.
* Maintain high level of service in compliance with company operating procedures.
* To supervise a team of discipline buyers eg mechanical, electrical, I,C and T etc.

* Developing procurement strategies
* Compiling and issuing enquiries to the market place
* Negotiating on price and achieving demonstrable price reductions in the procurement of goods and services
* Leading Commercial Bid Evaluations
* Participating in Technical Bid Evaluations

* Accurate recording of progress of buying against project programme and maintaining procurement status reports.
* Attending and participating in progress meetings
* Engaging suppliers on performance issues and providing feedback through FPAL
* Maintaining purchase order records from award through to close out and archiving
* Liaising with other disciplines, in particular Engineering
* Promoting good business ethics
* Implement SHEQ policy
* Providing support and assisting with development of junior team members
* Negotiating and resolving claims and variations with suppliers (always subject to company delegation of authority)
* Preparing and presenting documents to support recommendations to Commercial Review Board

Buyer

My client requires a buyer based at the Tewkesbury office, , to procure and occasionally source commodities and services to meet manufacturing. This will include running reports from MRP to determine requirements, evaluating quotes from preferred suppliers, creating purchase orders, maintaining procurement records and a particular emphasis on monitoring the open order book to ensure vendors adherence to committed delivery dates. Also the timely assistance to suppliers with any questions or issues relating to orders placed and our purchasing process is important.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Basic Duties:
*To run appropriate reports from MRP system to identify production requirements.
*Secure and evaluate quotes from qualified suppliers. Compare quality, pricing, and delivery dates.
*Create purchase orders to procure components, or repair components, in accordance with production requirements ensuring correct technical and administrative content of purchasing documentation.
*Maintain procurement records on items or services purchased.
*Monitor deliveries from suppliers and expedite as necessary to ensure promised delivery or due date compliance.
*Maintain ethical conduct in all supplier relations and adhere to company policies.
*Provide information to the Materials Manager as required for monthly reports.
Collaboration (internal):
*Collaborate with the Production Manager and monitor, track, and provide feedback on delivery status.
*Address defective or unacceptable goods or services with QC and production personnel, to determine corrective action. Return non-conforming materials to suppliers (if the defects are attributed to them) for re-work, replacement or credit. Assist with closing of NCR and completion of corrective action.
Engineering - Design - Material Master
*Maintain material master fields relative to purchasing (lead times, purchasing records, etc.).
Supplier Management:
*Assist suppliers with questions or problems concerning the purchasing process to ensure timely delivery.
*Discuss defective or unacceptable service with suppliers to collectively determine source of trouble and take corrective action.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Essential:
*Educated to A-level standard or equivalent.
*Strong organization and time-management skills.
*Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams.
*Good understanding of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
*Good communication skills (oral and written). Ability to effectively interface and collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure positive results.
*2-3 years procurement or relevant commercial experience in a manufacturing environment.
*Basic knowledge of the Microsft® business suite, especially Word and Excel.

Desirable:
*Good knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures.
*CIPs qualification.
*Knowledge of SAP.
