This week’s Trophy of the Week is a real holiday celebration, all the way from the DEEP south in Cypremort Point, Louisiana. Meaning “Dead Cypress” in French, Cypremort Point is a demanding hunting terrain, dominated by coastal marshlands. The region is known for not only its recreational camping and fishing, but for its hunting bounty as well. It was of great importance to the Chitimacha Native Americans that called the area home, and even served as one of the great landmarks of their tribal lands.
These rich hunting grounds were the destination of this week’s Trophy Winner, Andre. Visiting family over the Thanksgiving Holiday, Andre is currently a student at Louisiana State University. After enjoying a holiday dinner with his family, he set out to see if there were any deer to be had before nightfall. Andre made the trek and was surprised to have this great buck walk right out in front of him, not long before setting up in his stand. This great trophy was truly a reason for Andre to give thanks during this year’s holiday season.
Great Job Andre! If YOU would like to be featured as this week’s Trophy of the Week, simply send us a picture of you with your harvest, wearing your Oilfield Camo Gear! Just fill out the form below and you could win FREE Oilfield Camo Swag. KEEP DRILLING!!!
