Bookkeeper / Office Manager

Small busy Interior design home office based in the West Hollywood area, has an opening for a Full Charge Bookkeeper with a strong business background. This person must be well experienced in using Microsoft Office Suite including; Access, Excel, Word, and Quick Books Professional 2010. Bookkeeper is responsible for:
? Bank Reconciliation
? Month End/Year End close
? Journal Entries
? Sales Tax
? Detailed Orientated and accurate with numbers
? Filing, General accounting duties
? Accounts receivable and payable
? Must have excellent Microsoft Access experience

Applicant must be able to work well under pressure in a small busy office. Additional duties include: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, assisting in composing correspondence for proposals, and presentations, Calendar management and scheduling, Being able to prioritize their own work and be capable to multi task. This position requires some one that is detailed, organized, with good communication skills, which include in-person, internet correspondence and phone.

Benefits include: Health, dental and vision, paid vacation and holidays. Prior experience working in the interior design field is a plus.
Preference will be given to applicants that live within 30 minute drive of West Hollywood. Applicants with at least 2 years local experience will be given priority.
