Overall Purpose of the Job:
To ensure that all WWS product and project assemblies are manufactured to required build and quality specifications in a safe, professional, efficient, cost effective and timely manner to the satisfaction of the Production Supervisor.
Job challenges:
1.To assemble products to specifications
2.Continuous improvement of Manufacturing techniques and products.
3.Assist with production product/project FAT testing which may include working on other sites on occasions.
4.Good communication and organisation skills.
5.Good attention to detail.
6.Quality and safety systems awareness.
7.Work as a team, with minimum supervision.
8.Work through production training matrix where applicable for the job role.
9.To assist in setting up production facility in line with 5 s, lean manufacturing techniques where applicable.
10.To assist in the modification and repair of rental return equipment within the maintenance cell.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications:
(Indicate minimum knowledge and essential background qualifications necessary to perform the job competently)
1.Previous experience as a production Electrical / Mechanical technician for a manufacturing company.
2.Time served apprentice. Btec or NVQ. Or 1) above.
3.Soldering to high QA standard.
4.Experience of manufacture of Oil and Gas related electronic / mechanical assemblies an advantage.
5.Experience of manufacturing within an ISO' approved company an advantage.
6.Experience of manufacturing assemblies involving pressure and pressure testing an advantage.
7.Experience with equipment modifications and repairs with an oil and gas related company an advantage.
8.Competent with Microsoft Office programmes, especially MS Word, Excel & Project
9.Working knowledge of SAP is an advantage not essential.
