Manual Machinist

My client are looking to recruit a number of skilled manual machinists to work shifts in their manual milling and turning workshop.

The ideal candidate will be apprenticeship trained with experience of working within manual machining and they will be able to set up and operate the machines to work to fine tolerances.

The right candidate will be able to machine components from engineering drawings and schematics and will also be able to use the full range of measuring equipment and be capable of working under their own initiative.

Materials machined will include stainless steel, duplex and nickel alloys.

For the lathe roles experience of using work holding devices such as jaw chucks, face plates, collets and fixtures will be essential.Omega Resource Group Plc is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
