Senior exploration Geoscientist

Senior exploration Geoscientist required for a leading E & P-company. This new role is created thanks to considerable expansion on the UK continental shelf (Central and southern North Sea) and efforts in the value creation on the existing portfolio of fields and licenses.

Role function
* Contribute with geological/geophysical expertise in a wide range of projects such as the development of trade opportunities and field exploration rounds, developments
-The execution of seismic interpretation as part of integrated projects
* Initiate and participate in internal/external geological/geophysical studies such as sequence stratigraphy, sedimentology, basin modeling, AvO inversion
* Contributions with strong regional geology understanding of the UKCS
* Champion and geological/geophysical technologies deploy
* Participate in meetings and working groups, and potentially in license licensing committees
-Generating ideas for further growth and value creation

Candidate background/experience

* Geology or Geophysics (or equivalent) on Msc/Phd-level
* Experience of exploration projects, preferably as an operator
* 8 + years of relevant experience
