The Background
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Wells Operations Manager to work for a global leading Oil and Gas company. As a Wells Operations Manager you'll be responsible for the execution and delivery of Wells activities in the field, to achieve project objectives within the North Sea.

The Role
As the Wells Operations Manager you'll report to the VP of Wells Engineering as the focal point for the day to day safety, technical, operational and execution of all drilling, completions and intervention operations. You'll also head up the pre tender qualifications; bid preparation, analysis and contract executions. You'll ensure compliance with international standards (API, IADC and ISO) and well control and emergency response policies during well execution. You'll manager rig and third party contractual relationships to deliver success through performance management and you'll coach and mentor, Drilling / Completion / Intervention staff to ensure appropriate development and career progressions.

You
Ideally you'll be educated to a degree level within a relevant discipline or you'll have the equivalent relevant experience within a Wells Management position. Ideally you'll have previous experience of Well Operations Management and you'll have experience of managing third party contractual relationships. Additionally, you'll hold an IWCF certificate and will have experience of coaching and mentoring staff.

HVAC Manager

KEY PURPOSE
The HVAC Manager Afghanistan will manage the cost effective and efficient functioning of the Maintenance Department as required by operations. This will include ensuring availability of all HVAC equipment and staff whilst upholding maintenance requirements to meet contract objectives whilst upholding a first class service to customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-The effective management of all staff and facilities and ensuring optimum efficiency & service to the Client
-The ability to liaise effectively & to foster sound relationships with the Client
-To uphold the quality of workmanship and integrity of HVACR Maintenance Section of weekly Site reps and Month End reports
-Maximize asset utilization
-Achieve service charter objectives
-You are responsible for the successful general maintenance on all types of HVACR equipment
-Observing, receiving and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources
-To ensure that all regulations relating to the safety of equipment are adhered to
-To recommend and discuss with the Maintenance Manager improvements to systems or procedures which you think may be beneficial to the company operation
-To carry out any other duties as requested by management

QUALIFICATIONS
-Relevant industry related qualification

EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCE
-Previous work experience / Managing a team of HVACR Technicians, Hold a valid Driving License and in-depth knowledge of Reefers / industrial cooling systems.

-Ability to meet tight deadlines and to ensure all work schedules are met as required
-A good command of the English language in order to effectively liaise with customers
-Proven ability to work in remote arduous locations
-At least 3 years' experience as a HVACR Maintenance Supervisor
-The ability to keep meticulous records of all HVACR maintenance related matters

Subsea Manifold Engineer

Our client, a large Subsea and Pipeline contractor are searching for a Subsea Manifold Engineer to join their team in Staines.

Our client is seeking a Subsea Manifolds Engineer to join their project team supporting subsea activities on Angolan developments.

The candidate will be working within an integrated team as part of a project comprising flowline and subsea tie-ins to existing infrastructure.

The project activities will be split between Sunbury, Staines and Sutton working in the client or contractor offices in the short term. In addition there may be a requirement to travel within the UK and overseas depending on the role. Duration is likely to be at least 1 year

Although not essential, there will be opportunities to work overseas, including Angola, in support of the procurement, fabrication and installation activities, planned from Q4 2012 through to Q1 2014.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

?Verifying compliance to Company's specifications and technical documentation
?Interface with client's own equipment, systems and pipeline engineering teams as required
?Co-ordination of verification processes for design, manufacture and qualification testing techniques to be employed
?Review of contractor/vendor design reports, drawings plus other documentation and verification of the proposed designs
?Review of piping design, including valves, tees, wyes, connectors, etc.
?Review of foundations design, in support of suction caissons, gravity systems, etc.
?Understand testing strategies (FAT/EFAT/SIT) and installation requirements

Experience Required

The candidate should ideally have experience in the design, fabrication, installation and testing of subsea manifolds, PLET's, FTA's, foundations & anchor systems.

In particular a specialist either in foundations or manifold piping is sought.

Experience and knowledge in some of the following:

?Pipeline operation, integrity management & pigging requirements
?Use of analytical packages such as SACS, Caesar, FS2000 or similar
?Piping design
?Foundation & support structure designs
?Installation of subsea manifolds, PLET's and structures for deepwater applications
?Connector/clamp assemblies for offshore and subsea applications
?Familiar with Industry Standard Design Codes for Offshore, Foundations, Marine Operations and Lifting
?Corrosion protection systems
?Material selection
?Interfaces with subsea architecture equipment, components & tooling
?SIT testing and site testing activities
?Interaction with installation/recovery vessels

Role
The job holder will be responsible for Systems Engineering on the company product line.

Duties

Planning Engineer - Oil & Gas

Our client is working closely with a large Oil and Gas Operator. They are now seeking a Planning Engineer to join them in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to work on a range of upstream and downstream oil & gas projects. You will support the delivery and maintenance of consistent and realistic plans and control structures for the project. Understand and monitor the interfaces between assigned project sub-elements and other sub-elements. Develop the activities, logic, resources and progress for the assigned project sub-elements. Comply with the planning and progress monitoring procedures. Conduct the schedule monthly progress update, forecast, critical path and trend analyses for assigned elements, including any impact from interface areas. Provide input to the status reports and ensure that these include the incorporation of approved changes. Liaise with project engineering personnel to assist proper understanding of the key schedule sensitivities and drivers. Assist with identification of alternate approaches to optimise the plans. Know the contract key dates, milestones and plan dates and how they relate to the overall project schedule. Understand the requirements of the contract sections for planning and progress reporting. Review and verify contractors reported progress and incorporate into schedule progress updates. Maintain awareness of critical and sub-critical paths and track float consumption. Utilise the standard tools and processes. Assist in the preparation of input data for benchmarking activities. You must have had a good EPC background and preferably gained some experience with an Operator and you must be fully conversant in the use of Primavera P6 and be able to review and challenge contractor plans and create integrated master plans for major projects. You will need to have an Engineering Degree and / or Certificate as a Planning Engineer or have equivalent experience. You must have at least 6 - 8 years experience of more as a Planning Engineer and have some experience of managing small teams. You will need good communication skills. Rate / salary is very negotiable.
