An exciting opportunity has arisen with my client. They are a successful Engineering company that are offering a stable and lucrative career in their machine shop. They require a Manual machinist / Toolmaker, to add value to their team.
The candidate will be responsible for understanding engineering drawings, selecting tooling, setting and operating the various manual machines. They will be involved in producing batch work and one offs.
We are looking for a Manual machinist / Toolmaker who ideally has the following skills:
*Extensive experience of Setting Machines.
*Must be able to Set, and operate the machines.
*Experience of programming will be a benefit, but not essential.
*Have a good understanding of how to set and load machines.
*Have a good understanding of engineering drawings.
*Must be a proactive team player, with a positive 'can do' attitude.

CNC Turner Programmer

KEY PURPOSE
CNC Programmer/Setter/Turner - programming Twin Spindle/Twin Turret machining centres using Fanuc controls. With experience in programming/setting Puma and Nakamura Twin Spindle Machining Centres.

KEY Y RESPONSIBILITIES
Programmer/Setter/Turner - programming Twin Spindle/Twin Turret machining centres using Fanuc controls
Dimension inspection of manufactured products against engineering drawings.


QUALIFICATIONS
At least 5 years experience programming, working to tight deadlines.


EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCE
At least 5 years experience programming, working to tight deadlines, with proven track record. Nakamura and Puma Twin Spindle Machining Centres


SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Team player, ability to work to tight deadlines. Microsoft Word and Excell to basic level
