My client is the world's largest steel mining company. I have been retained to find a Purchasing Superintendent to be based in Liberia.

This position requires flexible irregular working hours and the ability to travel internationally, particulalry to Toronto in Canada.

This position is responsible for the purchase of Capital Goods & Services for a Green field Iron Ore Mining project as per the sourcing plan/procurement schedule and able to plan and manage supply chain activity.

The Ideal candidate will have:

Strong business acumen and commercial skills & capability to build and lead task driven teams

Ability to work autonomously and at the same time to contribute strongly as a team player working together with various stake holders in the project team

Analytical ability and comfortable in a highly computerized environment, preferably in SAP

Good knowledge of Procurement activities with proven track record and aggressively pursue and create competitive purchase environment through constantly seeking alternative supply scenarios inluding sourcing from Emerging countries

Exposure to a multi-cultural working environment preferable

Documented examples where the candidate has led similar project implementation and delivered results consistent with requirements of this position

Marine Operations Superintendent - AHTS Vessels

The client a leading provider of marine services in support of major oil & gas developments, now having established a new office in the region, now need an Operations Superintendent to join them in Brazil.The main purpose of the role is to ensure that all allocated vessels ( mainly AHTS ) are manned and operated in line with current legislation, flag state, class and company requirements and that all charter parties are serviced in line with agreed terms. Being the principal point of contact with the client, during the term of any charter, you will develop and seek to improve operations and related policies in consultation with other line managers.
The minimum qualifications for the role are: Master Mariner Certification / Ship Security Certificate / Two years shore experience with AHTS vessels and most importantly fluency in English & Portuguese, written and oral.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading Oil and Gas operator. As Completions Superintendent you will be responsible for the execution of the abandonment and completion operations for the re-development of oilfield in Offshore West Africa. The operations will be from 2 wellhead towers, and includes down-hole sand control, gas lift and acid stimulation.

The project work programme will including pulling the existing completion, installing OHGP and upper completion, working to depths of around 400ft.

Key duties in the role will include:
Overall management of day to day abandonment and completion activities. Overseeing daily completion activities and providing technical leadership to offshore Completion Supervisors.
Ensuring that all offshore completion activities are executed in accordance with company and legislative requirements including SHE.
Ensuring that completion vendor assessments are carried out as outlined in the policies and procedures.
Reviewing drilling programmes to ensure integration with the completion programme.
Working together with the Completion Engineer to execute and achieve the well completion objectives.
Responsible for ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the programme, and where changes are required ensure correct use of company's management of change approval system.
Participation in the selection and auditing of suppliers and vendors ensuring material and equipment supplied is to the satisfaction of the Company and to the specification ordered to meet operational requirements.
Ensuring that Combined or Simultaneous Operations Plans are in place as applicable including co-ordinating and liaising with Production Operations for Completion concurrent activities.
Responsible for performance and competence evaluations of Completion Supervisors.
Monitors and reviews SHE performance and implementation of action plans.
Liaising with third party contractors/service providers to ensure SHE compliance with company requirements and interface management documents.
Responsible for, along with the DMC, all onshore completion equipment preparation and logistics

You will have previous experience of Barge and Subsea Completions, as well as Sand Control Completions.
A valid IWCF Drilling certificate is required. You will need to be able to demonstrate strong leadership and supervisory skills, as well as the ability to work in remote locations.

The Background
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Wells Team Leader to work for a global leading Oil and Gas company. As a Wells Team Leader you'll be responsible for the execution and delivery of Wells activities in the field, to achieve project objectives within the North Sea.

The Role
As the Wells team leader, you'll lead a team of Well Site leaders to ensure delivery of the high quality well planning activities, programs and execution in compliance with relevant Health, Safety, Security & Environment. Additionally you'll ensure that the projects comply with the Operating Management Systems and company requirements. You'll coach and mentor Wells Operations engineers and well site leaders to ensure appropriate development and career progression. You'll also manage rig and third party contractual relationships and will manage well operations to deliver production from new wells, major projects and well work/ workovers.

You
Ideally you'll be educated to a degree level within a relevant discipline or you'll have the equivalent relevant experience within an Engineering role. Ideally you'll have previous North Sea Drilling experience for an operator and will have managed a team offshore. You'll hold a Well Control Certification (IADC, IWCF etc) and will be able to demonstrate HSSE leadership qualities. You'll also have experience of managing 3rd party contractors and experience of offshore operational drilling on semisubmersible rigs, HTHP wells and ERD Drilling.
