Requirements
? Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, plus 1-5 years experience in related work environment
? Expertise in Adobe CS especially InDesign and Photoshop (95% of job is working in CS)
? Top-notch composition and production skills (work is about 80% production & 20% design)
? Strong pre-press experience (must know Acrobat well, and how to preflight files for printing)
? Team player, dependable, organized, meticulous and focused

We are the global market leader in photographic and fine art calendars, located in El Segundo.

Requirements
? 3-5+ years of hands-on, full-time prepress experience
? Expertise in Adobe CS especially InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat
? Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related area
? Excellent communicator of details with printers, customers and in-house team members
? Expert Apple IT hardware and software trouble-shooter: Mac OS servers, font management, etc.
? Fanatical about file-naming conventions, server folder structures and procedures
? Tendency toward perfectionism with a accompanying sense of humor
? A love for efficient workflows, policies and rules, and knowing when to break them
? Experience in Apple scripting and other automation tools
? Top-notch composition and production skills
? Team player, dependable, organized, meticulous and focused
? App development experience is a plus

Job Duties
? Preflight, quality-check and create hi-rez printer PDFs (1200 per year)
? Upload, download and process PDF proofs to/from domestic and off-shore printers
? Communicate file uploads, downloads and proofing rounds to entire team
? Preflight customer-provided files and communicate needed adjustments quickly and professionally
? Track job status' and approvals in our job management database
? Design, compose and product projects as needed
? Trouble-shoot department desktop and server Mac IT issues
? Write and launch Apple script-based automation and production efficiencies
