Position: Shop Foreman/shop Manager,
Full-time, may vary thought the year based on incoming business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
? This person would be primarily responsible for assisting in managing the day to day operations of the fabrication areas to ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the jobs quality control specifications, safety policies and any other relevant project requirements
? Daily organization and assignment of shop personnel and equipment in order to meet the requirements of production demands. Specific emphasis placed on safety, efficiency, product quality and production output
? Monitor assembly and cutting stations to ensure compliance with the company's safety policies and quality control specifications
? Monitor the use of company equipment, facilities and supplies to ensure the most safe and efficient use of these items
? Help resolve fabrication issues and ability to identify root causes to keep from repeating mistakes
? Selects specified type of lumber and materials
? Prepares layout
? Requires use of power tools, pneumatic nail guns, and moderate lifting
? Marks cutting and assembly lines on materials
? Shapes materials to prescribed measurement
? Build components of crates (bases, Walls)
? Clean, prep, take pictures
? Secure and crate equipment consistent to guidelines established by SOP
? Keep your area clean and organized
? Assure you can stay late or work Saturdays on an as needed bases
? Work independently and stay busy throughout the day
? Assembles cut and shaped materials and fastens them together with nails or staples.
? Other duties and tasks as assigned

? Knowledge, Skills, Attitude:
? Ability to interpret engineered drawings and develop finished product from these plans
? Must have strong leadership skills
? Relevant shop experience
? Strong communication skills within team
? Strong organizational skills and ability to multi task
? Positive attitude, able to handle tense situations that arise and be a good example to shop employees
? Team player, able to take directions and give clear direction
? Good problem solving skills
? Valid Drivers License
? Ability to pass a drug test as well as a 7 year criminal background check
? Ability to perform duties using metric and American measurements
? Able to follow written and oral instruction
? Ability to work with others in team setting
? Ability to take direction from shop foreman
? Knowledge of carpentry tools
? Ability to work in a high paced environment
Prerequisites (Education, Experience):
? Must have 3-5 years related experience or training
? Must have own transportation
