Tasks and Responsibilities:
Interface with Drill Team Leadership and rig contractors / designers during pre-FEED assessments to identify and resolve critical design challenges based on functional specificationsDevelop / assess rig winterization design requirements / features and suitability for given operating environmentDevelop minimum capability and capacity requirements for remote Arctic operations and associated challenges (specifications, critical spares inventory, fluids capacities, etc.; Re-supply limited by distance and metocean)Address human factors associated with remote Arctic operations as well as safety of personnel and equipmentWork with Engineering to identify rig support requirements for active operations (supply vessels, shore base, warship, crew change, mob / demob, etc.)Interface with Multi-Functional Team during pre-FEED / FEED activities to ensure resulting design is fit-for-purposeGuide rig contractors / designers with layout of drilling systems and integration of key rig equipment to meet operational needs in addition to SSH&E requirements
