Medicare and Medi-Cal billing experience necessary. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required as well as customer service experience to resolve billing problems.

Established (20+ years) medical billing service in Canoga Park, CA seeks a full time, experienced Medical Biller / Follow-Up person. Applicant will have a minimum of 3 years proven work experience in related industry as a medical biller for physicians specifically in the area of insurance follow-up/claim denial work.
Duties include reviewing and solving issues pertaining to unpaid claims, (denials) and/or problematic EOBs. Experience and knowledge of medical billing, CPT and ICD-9 coding required.
Applicant will need to be able to multi task and work well independently. Applicant must have extensive experience with both Medicare and Medi-Cal billing. Excellent oral and written communication skills required as well as customer service experience to resolve billing problems.
