Customer Service Rep (abrasives/cutting tools) (Monrovia)

In business more than 20 years, this small family-owned business prides itself on providing the highest quality customer service with representatives who have extensive product knowledge and hands-on problem-solving skills.

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.

Candidates must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities
As the Customer Service Rep, you will have access to major cutting tool and abrasive manufacturers and will be responsible for recommending the best tool for the job.

* Help customers select right product for their needs and application
* Answer customer inquiries by phone, email, fax
* Provide price quotes and process orders over the phone
* Assist with inventory control, shipping and receiving as needed

Required Experience
* Vocational training / certificate preferred
* Excellent communication skills
* Customer service or inside sales experience with abrasives and/or cutting tools
* Knowledge of manufacturing operations, CNC machining, programming/tool design
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings a plus
