Accounting Assistant (Long Beach, CA)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Invoicing
Posting Cash Receipts
Purchase order processing and receiving
Full cycle accounts payable
Collections
Construction Releases & Liens
Monthly aging review
Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and taxes
Monthly Bank Reconciliations
Handle and assist with monthly audits, JE's and various reports.
Provide support and coverage to all accounting positions as needed.
Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
Motivated, extremely organized, detail oriented, flexible and committed to the position and completing all task on time.
Able to multitask and adjust when necessary in a busy environment.
Able to follow through with assigned projects to completion within deadlines.
Team oriented.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills.

Other Requirements:
2-4 years of progressive accounting/bookkeeping experience
Ability to interpret and carry out a variety of instructions.
Strong working knowledge of excel with the ability to create and operate spreadsheets.

Compensation and Benefits
This is an hourly non-exempt position.
Rate TBD - based on experience.
