We're searching for professional independent sales executives who are highly organized and self motivated with strong negotiation skills for an entertainment company, to help drive new sales. This person will be responsible for acquiring new small and medium business accounts, and managing strategic accounts. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years previous sales experience with a focus on business-to-business; an A-player with a proven track record in sales is required. You must be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and solid consultative selling skills. Experienced in advertising sales is a plus and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. About the Queen Mary

Located in the Port of Long Beach, the Queen Mary features a rich maritime history, authentic Art Deco decor, and stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and Long Beach city skyline. At the time of her maiden voyage in May of 1936, she was considered the grandest ocean liner ever built. Today the Queen Mary is one of Los Angeles' major attractions, drawing visitors from around the world. The Opportunity

We are currently looking for part-time Attraction Tour Guides to join our team at the legendary Queen Mary.? The Attractions Tour Guide is responsible for providing information and/or answering passenger questions about tours while providing the highest level of service possible in an efficient, courteous and professional manner.

Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the Attractions Tour Guide include:

Maintaining an up to date working knowledge and historical knowledge of the Queen MaryLearning and presenting the script for all toursOpening and closing attraction areasGreeting passengers in a warm and friendly manner, acknowledging them upon arrivalFulfilling attraction attendant duties when not leading toursAnswering questions about the Queen Mary, tours and guided toursInteracting with crew members in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary informationListening and responding to passenger inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voicePerforming attraction attendant duties when not conducting toursMaintaining an up to date working knowledge of all property amenities as well as any special events

Job Requirements

The ideal Attractions Tour Guide will have previous experience as a tour guide or attractions host or hostess and have a passion for the Queen Mary and her history.

Texas leads nation in drilling activity – by a lot

Texas continues to lead the nation in drilling activity, and by a bunch.

The state has 840 rigs drilling for oil or gas – about 47.7 percent of all U.S. rigs and 26.3 percent of all rigs worldwide, according to the latest Baker Hughes Rig Count.

Most of the Texas rigs are working in the Permian Basin (402), the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas (232), the Granite Wash in the Panhandle (41), the Barnett Shale in North Texas (32) and the Haynesville Shale in East Texas (17).

DirectPath Home Loans is looking for a front-line mortgage processor with current experience to join us in opening a unique retail direct home lending branch to serve consumers and real estate professionals. These clients enjoy local access to a decentralized lending team empowered to approve, process, underwrite and fund loans on site in a beautiful new store front mortgage office.
